Disney Wonder ~Day 4~

 Puerto Vallarta

March 2, 2011

The Norweigan Cruise ship docked next to us.

In PV, the boat docks in a WalMart parking lot.  Seriously!

Getting off the Wonder.
Looking to hire a van and driver for our day in PV.

We hired a van and driver for the day at $140 for all of us.  We thought it was well worth the expense.

The PV Walmart.

The cobblestone streets of old Puerto Vallarta.

A street performer along the boardwalk area.

Our drive took us to a silver shop to take advantage of "free restrooms".  We didn't purchase any silver.

Large iguana suns itself on a building.

The PV beach scene.

The steep, tropical streets of PV.

Taking in the coastline at "El Set"

We arrive at a zipline location to have lunch.

We were serenaded by a classical guitar player.

Chicken fajitas

Banana tree.

Very interesting tree in the PV shopping area.

The famous "swinging bridge" of PV.  Actually difficult to cross!

Inside "Our Lady of Guadelupe" Catholic Church.  The oldest building in PV.

The exterior of the Catholic Church.

Lily gets her hair braided.

We enjoy watching a street artist paint with simple tools and spray paint.

Hey, this place looks familiar!

A small McDonalds that only serves ice cream.

Saying goodbye to Manuel, our driver.

Dinner in "Animator's Palate"

Towel in the shape of a crustacean.

A fun night of karaoke!

Shannon loses a tooth!  The Tooth Fairy paid her in Pesos (we were in Mexico....)
