The Breakfast of Champions!

The adults take a trip to Cabo to visit Lover's Beach

On the dock in Cabo!

We rent a glass-bottom water taxi to go to the beach.

We had to stop for gas first!

We drop anchor near a Holland America cruise ship.

In PV, the boat docks in a WalMart parking lot. Seriously!

Looking to hire a van and driver for our day in PV.

We hired a van and driver for the day at $140 for all of us. We thought it was well worth the expense.

Our drive took us to a silver shop to take advantage of "free restrooms". We didn't purchase any silver.

Awful drive from Boise to Winnemucca.

Lots of snow and traffic accidents.

We stayed at the Super 8. Would not recommend

We arrived in San Pedro in time for sunset.

We stayed at the Vagabond Inn, because they let you park

your car there for the week you are on the cruise.

For Shannon's 10th birthday we surprised her with a private photo shoot with our friend Rebecca.

Our secret plan was to have Shannon get dressed-up, with the idea she would be going to dinner. Rebecca then texted messaged Shannon's cell with a message to check out her blog:

Shannon and Rebecca visited some sites around Caldwell to do the pro photo shoot. Then, they went out for hot chocolate.

Greer Family Reunion

We celebrated the 2010 Greer reunion at

Reid Ranch near Tabiona, UT.

The facility included a lodge, chow hall,

swimming pools, archery range, equestrian area,

waterfront, snack bar, sports fields,

miniature golf, and campfire areas. We had a BLAST!

The weather, food, service and company was great.

We all had a wonderful time.

The Rocket Display at the ATK facility in Howell, UT

is worth a stop if you're in the area.

This is the factory where they build the

booster rockets for the Space Shuttle.

They put inert rockets on display and you can even climb inside!

On our way home from Brigham City, UT,

Grandma and Grandpa Bingham took us to

Golden Spike National Historic Site.

During the Summer, the steam the replica #119 and

Jupiter engines out to the site of where the trains met in 1869.

The camp is near Union, Oregon.

It rained very hard and everyone's belongings were soaked.

We spent some time volunteering at

the Church orchard in Caldwell.

Our job was to thin out the peaches before they ripen.

We all had a great time but it's really hard work.

We couldn't help playing on an old bulldozer we found on the site.

Free Fishing Day

Free fishing day in Idaho June 12th!

We took the kids and the cousins to

Wilson Springs here in Nampa.

It was CROWDED.

We enjoyed the "combat fishing"

and Dad got in trouble by the

Fish and Game officers for helping the kids too much (?).

We caught a number of fish and had them for dinner afterward.

Bear Creek Falls

The second time's a charm!

We attempted to hike into the elusive

Bear Creek Falls last year and discovered we were

in the wrong place and had to turn back.

There is no trail into the falls.

We happened to go on a day with great weather,

just after major flash flooding in the area.

The result was that the falls were at flood stage.

These falls are located near Hell's Canyon,

along the Idaho / Oregon border.

After our hike, we enjoyed some fishing at

Lost Valley Reservoir.

we purchased a kit to build a backyard swingset.

We went with a pretty basic design.

The kids helped put the kit together.

The swing occupies the round spot where our pool used to be.
